De jongste broer van Shirou en Kazuo is gisteren aangekomen. Zijn naam is Milo en hij is net als zijn broers een demon van de zeven zonden, de demon of Gluttony ( vraatzucht ) om precies te zijn. Hij is nog erg jong en gek op snoepjes, daarom is zijn specialiteit ook om mensen te verleiden veel snoepgoed te eten ( of het aan hem te geven ;) ).

Hij is trouwens een FCS F-09 MSD met long legs. Hij is zo'n schatje! Hij heeft van de mooie bleekblauze kijkers waarmee hij mensen heel makkelijk inpakt. En poseren 0_0 echt geweldig! Joyce zat met hem te spelen en hij kon gebukt blijven staan, rechtop zitten, zitten met zijn beentjes opzij, etc. Echt superleuk om met hem te spelen :)

Alleen, gisteren deed de camera het nog prima, daarmee heb ik nog onderstaande foto's gemaakt. Vandaag was er iets mis, want wat ik ook doe, er zitten allerlei eigenaardig gekleurde pixels in elke foto die ik nu neem :(
Ik hoop dat we het morgen op kunnen lossen...

Shirou heeft nieuwe ogen, Soom Silicone eyes Nightflower:

Ze hebben een grotere pupil dan zijn eerdere Crystal Acrylics, maar wel bijna dezelfde kleur.

Shirou is wel een drama om te poseren. Ik had gehoopt dat hij even zou blijven staan voor de foto zodat ik ook wat plaatjes van zijn fullset outfit kon schieten, maar hij wilde niet. Echt verschrikkelijk, hij heeft al kips op al zijn joints zitten (ook zijn enkels) én is gewired en strakker gestringd, maar nog steeds kan hij alleen staan met laarzen aan. Hij is zo mooi, maar poseert het slechtst van alle dolls in onze familie :(
 

Het is bijna kerst en ik hou van december! Ik hou ook van winter en ik hoop dat het gaat sneeuwen i.p.v. regenen.

Voor het nieuwe jaar hoop ik dat het volgende gaat veranderen:
ik heb gesolliciteerd bij de thuiszorg omdat ik graag een socialere baan wil dan werken in een cafetaria. Als ik aangenomen wordt ben ik maar alpha hulp, maar het is in ieder geval een maatschappelijk verantwoorde baan en ik kan er veel mensen mee helpen. Dat geeft meer zin aan mijn tijdsbesteding :) Ik hoop echt dat ik er mag gaan werken, dat zou een geweldig begin zijn van het nieuwe jaar!

Op het dolly front gebeurt er veel momenteel. Mam en ik hebben hard gespaard en nu is Guinevere (Bambicrony Elf Kumi) besteld en bijna onderweg, de grouporder bij Leekeworld is nog niet verzonden en daarin zit de pruik waarmee we voor Morgan een Shinku cosplay kunnen gaan maken. We doen een split order voor een Shiwoo waarbij wij het lijf voor Kiril eindelijk krijgen en ook bestellen we Marcia (CP MNF Marcia) in december. Shirou (Volks Amakusa) voelt zich al aardig thuis en zeurt om zijn arrival story en Connor (Ninodoll Bada) is niet blij dat ik eerst Kiril's (CP Na-nu-ri 2007) face-up eerst heb gedaan. Ik ben zo blij met hoe Kiril geworden is! Nu zou ik wel graag Bran's face-up overnieuw gaan doen en Lilith's face-up repareren, maar helaas zijn er andere zaken die voorrang hebben.

Ons eerste artikel voor het bald Poppen is gepubliceerd en we zijn druk bezig met het schrijven van de volgende :) Iedereen die ik ken moet het lezen, ik ben er helemaal hyper van dat er een artikel over BJD's in een Nederlands full color blad geplaatst is ( het vorige artikel over Volks dat erin stond is ook door heel wat handen gegaan :) ).

Yera is laatst langs geweest voor een grappige Sinterklaas fotoshoot met haar doll Lorgan als de sint himself, het was erg gezellig! Hij had voor alle dolls chocoladeletters meegebracht!

Dollzone is het leukste poppenbedrijf ter wereld! Ze hebben als kerstkado een fullset fox naar ons gestuurd! Hij is zo lief en we kunnen ze niet genoeg bedanken. Het is al zo leuk om agent te zijn van dit bedrijf omdat je zoveel mensen blij kan maken met een mooie doll, dit was echt de 'icing on the cake'  voor ons eerste jaar als BJD winkel :D .
Als kerstkado hebben we een doos met typisch Hollandse spulletjes naar ze gestuurd: drop, strooigoed, dollsize klmpen en dollsize Delfts Blauw. Het haalt het niet bij de petdoll die wij kregen, maar ik hoop dat ze het toch leuk vinden.

Joyce heeft voor Micah een zwarte ribcord broek gemaakt die hem hartstikke goed staat. Nu de outfit voor zijn Goblin King look nog ;) . Voor Lilith heb ik mooie stof gekocht voor een jurk en ik hoop dat ik er tijd voor heb om hem in elkaar te gaan prutsen. Ik vindt het zo zielig om het weer aan Joyce te vragen...

Nariko heeft eindelijk haar kitty shoes, eigenlijk wilde Kaida ze ook maar ze waren veel te groot voor haar :(. 
Ze staan Nariko in ieder geval hartstikke leuk en ik heb nu ontzettende zin om een Emily the Strange jurkje voor Nariko te maken :) ( Emily rules! ).

De honden zijn erg nerveus door het vuurwerk dat nu al dagelijks afgstoken wordt, ik vindt het zo zielig voor ze! Elke keer als er een luide knal komt probeert Sean heel hoog op de bank te klimmen en Cailin zit te beven als een rietje. Er zijn pilletjes die ze kalmeren, maar die geven we liever alleen met oud & nieuw zelf. Vorig jaar hadden we een ding met hormonen ofzo die je in het stopcontact kon steken. Daar werden ze wel iets rustiger van, dus die ga ik morgen voor ze halen. Helaas helpt het niet als ze buiten schrikken, maar in ieder geval krijgen ze dan binnenshuis geen hartverlamming van de angst.

It's late, I'm cold *shivers* and I should have been in bed an hour ago, because I have to work tomorrow. I also have to walk the dogs after posting here :(

Anyway, today was a fun day. Typically chaotic, as usual ;)

I started out thinkoig I could make a photostory about the Winter Swap gift that I already received at the beginning of this week. As we were posing and taking pictures, the story really started to shape up.
At that point, the doorbel rang. Our Dollzone order finally arrived! Customs had held the order for so long, it wasn't funny anymore.
What that meant, though, was no more photostory. We had to get the huge boxes out of the way. So first things first: unpacking, checking for any damages, then checking if everything we'd ordered had been shippied correctly. After that, updating our administration, adding everything to the website and updating it. Then came the time for contacting people about their pre-orders and that only left us with putting prices on everything and putting all the products in the correct boxes.  Phew! This is an average day in our house...

When we had finished this, we needed some groceries and after that we had an appoinment 2 fun girls of the DDD (and other) forum(s) to come pick up the Yuu doll that was ordered for one of them. We had such great conversations with them :D They were both really psyched about Yuu finally arriving, which makes all the shop hassle such a joy afteral.

By the time the ladies went home, the light outside wasn't good enough anymore and so I couldn't finish the photostory today. I'll try again tomorrow!

Sadly, I didn't get a chance at sculpting some more on Luna, I ad so hoped on that. But I did make a 3-minute necklace for Micah with a pretty cross bead I had purchased recently (had to do something mildly creative).

Off to bed now (oh wait, dogs first :P )...

I had a sculpting 'date' with Vayla again today :)
We worked on our doll sculpts some more. Progress seems to be really slow on my head, while she's already finishing the torso and lower body!
I can't help but being a perfectionist with Luna, though. I keep sanding and adding clay to get the look I'm desiring from her. And I'm still not done :(

I think I'll just focus on finishing her head for casting, since I made her compatible with CP bodies. After the head is cast, I can work on the body and not feel so pressured by myself to finish it.

Yeah! I'm feeling so damn good today!
After weeks of messing around with a mod script for my forum, I finally got it to work thanks to my brother.
The classifieds section is up and running (and since just now, translated to our language: dutch. That was about an hour of work).

Aside from that, the forum is really taking shape now. Thanks to the mods and users who are giving me feedback about what they would like. And some of the mods are super-active with helping to make banners and moodboards :) This community effort could really work! At least it would be a forum where users feel comfortable, since they are a large part of the decision making process :D

I'm not the most interesting person in the world and I havent posted in a long time, so I hope someone's actually reading this.
I've been incredibly busy with our shop. New dolls for our collection came in that I gave face-ups and hot glue sueding. I did face-ups for dolls I'm selling. Too much.

This is a great week! Our Haute Doll Marie Antoinette (the first box) has cleared customes and should come in tomorrow. The second box should follow a few days later. I can't wait!
We can't keep everything of the full set, but we'll keep the underwear, 2 wigs, shoes and 1 dress if I'm too tempted.
Sky will probably have to go, sadly. We didn't save up enough in time :(

Yesterday a big Monique box filled with wigs came in, there were such fun wigs in that box! One of them looked really good on Nariko and I never expected her to be a blonde!



Morgan ( CP Dark Elf Soo ) has shipped and so has Pupapa Safi! Now all we have to do is wait. That's really hard.
After this, we can't buy any more new dolls for a while, because we should save up for a trip to Japan next year. I really hope we can do it.

I spent the day painting dolls. Some turned out satisfactory, others I kept wiping because I didn't like it. Nothing's finished yet :( 

Joyce worked on making limited edition summer dress sets for SD and MSD dolls, they are turning out quite well! I especially like the colors, they're turqoise and white. 

My brother is graduating tomorrow, I hope he makes it ( although he's really good at what he does, so he should without trouble ). Wish him luck!

Why does Luts have to shut down accepting Paypal now?
I just ordered Dark Elf Soo and paid for her yesterday morning. Right after, I heard that they don't accept Paypal anymore. My money has been taken out of my account. I really hope everything will turn out right, but I'm really not comfortable with this right now.
Why now, of all times? People were looking forward to the Na-nu-ri event head and now many of them can't pay!
